How does E&M Coder differ from other medical coding software?
E&M CoderTM was the
first "running total" software available for evaluation and
management CPT® coding, and remains an innovative industry leader in professional medical auditing.
All levels of service are determined automatically. For example, when inputting an established customer's office visit, the appropriate
code is indicated before you leave the Patient Information screen. As you continue
selecting elements, the level changes to ensure that the code remains correct.
E&M CoderTM is not a "lookup" system.
Spring Management Systems created this product in 1993 to provide a tool for the then-new
"compliance" pressures in the medical industry. It was the first application to
take advantage of the user-friendly Microsoft Windows environment, rather than the complex
UNIX (Xenix) language used in the majority of medical practice software.
What are the minimum system requirements to run E&M Coder?
- Windows NT, 2000, XP or Vista
- Pentium processor
- 32 MB RAM
- 800x600 display
- 10 MB hard disk space (minimum)
- CD ROM
